Our community engagement efforts are centered around the mission of Get Up & Glo! Get Up & Glo Together is an outreach arm that provides tailored programs aimed at fostering social, political, and spiritual development in the area we serve. We work in collaboration with political and spiritual leaders to serve a wide range of people and populations in the African Region. Our community is a melting pot of diverse individuals, united by a shared vision of growth, empowerment, and inclusivity.

  1. Preserving our Elders: We hold our elderly community members in the highest regard. Their wisdom, experience, and stories are treasured assets, they affirm what we do, and we are committed to preserving and honoring their contributions to our communities.
  2. Connecting Displaced Youth and Elders with Safe and Caring Homes: Our commitment serves as a bridging the gap between our youth and elders to locating safe and nurturing home solutions. Everyone deserves a place to call home, and we are dedicated to providing compassionate assistance in locating a shelter or foster homes for those who have been displaced from their homes.
  3. Compassion in Action: “Leaving No One Behind” is not just a principle; it’s a commitment to action. It drives our volunteers and staff to be the hands and feet of compassion, always ready to serve and uplift those who need it most.
  4. We Go the Extra Mile: We don’t wait for individuals in need to come to us; instead, we proactively seek them out. When we hear of someone who is homeless or displaced, we make it our mission to find them and extend a helping hand.
